Elegance
Typically, orangeries are architecturally stronger than conservatories. Orangery designs exhibit a strong sense of symmetry in the relationship of their roofs with the glazed wall-frames, the latter of which are nearly always pilaster enhanced and surmounted by a deeply profiled cornice (entablature). The lasting effect is one of permanence presenting a slightly more enclosed solution to the less structured conservatory alternative.
