Adding a conservatory to this Wiltshire farmhouse presented a particular challenge. The original patio was subjected to cold winds on all but the most perfect of days, hence the desire for a conservatory in this favourite spot. But what of the entrance to the house? The porch had to be carefully dismantled and then re-built in a new position. As is so often the case with our work, the dividing line between old and new is far from clear.
The conservatory transformed the interior of the house too as it provides new access from the kitchen through to one of the main reception rooms. This is a recurring theme in Town & Country conservatory design and one that always proves very popular. By resisting the temptation to include bay doors, the whole conservatory is used for living, dining and relaxing without it becoming a thoroughfare–after all, the main entrance is nearby!
Our price to further design, manufacture, deliver and install a similar conservatory today, is approximately 65,000.00 excluding VAT and associated preparatory and finishing building works.
